Anonymous is a notorious cyberterrorist organization created by a bunch of goons in the depths of 4chan. They are most well known for repeatedly getting in the news during a two-decade-plus long wave of hacking sprees against corporate targets. They are also known for birthing Gamergate and QAnon, helping organize the 2020 riots, working for Jeffrey Epstein, and doing the State Department's dirty work in setting the stage for overseas regime-change operations.

There is currently a documentary on Netflix entitled The Antisocial Network: From Memes to Mayhem which purports to tell the history of Anonymous. As someone who was there, I can truthfully say that it is full of Lies, and that calling it a “documentary” is an insult to journalism itself.

I am not at liberty to reveal everything I know, or how I know many of the things that I know. But as best as I can, I will attempt to set the record straight about what Anonymous was, is, and always will be.

Woosh! You're progressive humanitarian activists now, guilty of no wrongdoing!

Anonymous began as a cover story for a shadowy cybercult in 2003. It was created so everyone in the cult could feign ignorance of how certain illegal materials were getting uploaded to 4chan; A website run by a hapless patsy named Christopher “Moot” Poole.

Chris himself was being groomed by a mysterious hodge-podge cult of anime fans, software pirates, accelerationists and "free speech absolutists" from Something Awful & the Raspberry Heaven IRC. Soon after the launch of 4chan, “Anonymous” quickly built for itself a digital paramilitary force which has terrorized the world ever since.

The Anonymous cult and its mythos have eclipsed even Moot and 4chan, and gone on to write its own history as being the heroes of democracy and human rights. The truth of the matter, is that everyone needed an easy get out of jail free card after committing a mountain of crimes against Humanity and God. Becoming activists was a convenient way to whitewash the cult's image, so they may go forth committing innumerable & more heinous New Crimes under exotic new identities. This was how the cult carved out a lucrative niche as the enforcement arm of USAID and the fringe political interests that incubated it in the first place.

“Anonymous” can be anything, depending on the needs of the moment. Whoever's identity needs to be concealed for some reason. It can be you, your friends, your confidential sources, your enemy & your enemy's friends, a collective, an organization, a taxpayer-funded street militia, a strawman, an idea… the list goes on.

In reality, Anonymous is just a flexible mask, adapting as need be to deflect whoever comes around asking the Wrong Questions.

Since Anonymous and 4chan began as a slushpot of several independent-yet-intersecting conspiracies, it is hard to say who is ultimately responsible. It doesn't help that the media has propped up several flagrant Lies about the origins of 4chan and Anonymous.

The first lie was that Moot was the boy wonder sole founder and developer of 4chan. However, the story confirmed to me by goons who were there at the time - Martin Random and Kirtaner - was that a bunch of Raspberry Heaven members and mysterious investors did most of the heavy lifting for little Christopher. (Much of what Martin told me in an in-person off-the-record interview he explains in this video starting around the 7 minute mark.) Everyone helped Moot build this machine because he was a minor. This was important because of the large amounts of pirated movies, software (“warez” back then) and CSAM that “anonymous” goons & Raspberry Heaven members were trafficking on his site and constellation of associated IRC rooms. If the cops ever asked questions, Chris the hapless teenager wouldn't get tried as an adult, and the legal fallout would theoretically (lmao) be minimal.

Beyond vague screennames like Marshall Banana and folk history pages, it is hard to get any further into the matter. Many RH members who had a hand in these early days walked away in shame & disgust, laundering themselves out of their horrible and increasingly perverted creation. These key John Doe witnesses are more reluctant to come out of hiding than ever, now that the problem has festered even further out of control in the 22 years since the inception of their conspiracy. Other witnesses have been threatened into silence, permanently descended into madness, or have just up and simply died. Time is running out to get the remaining survivors to make statements.

Further obscured from the official record, is the involvement of communities like Encyclopedia Dramatica, Bantown, the GNAA, YTMND and eBaum's World. Their affairs frequently intersected with 4chan, from the very early days all through the glory 06-11 years of the /i/nsurgency. All of these groups had a major role in the shaping of Anon's cultural identity, yet are rarely acknowledged by historians. Is this because ED was founded by a classified Department of Energy contractor, and seems to actually be farming internet drama as a form of exploitable green energy? Or that eBaum's World is owned by the same mysterious Mossad-linked investors as Know Your Meme? Or that Bantown and GNAA members like Andrew “Weev” Aueurnheimer have been covertly shipped overseas with known terrorist groups to fight in proxy wars for the Deep State? Or that taxpayer-funded intelligence assets were grooming Anons into joining ISIS in Syria, so they could get combat experience burning villages and chopping off heads in “insight roles” for Neo-Nazi mercenaries & militias? Or that Moot was having meetings with Jeffrey Epstein?

The second lie was that Kirtaner “founded” Anonymous, when in reality the founders were this same group of Goons from RH. Why does the mainstream media keep echoing these lies? Does it have anything to do with all the Whitey Bulger wannabes on the payroll from a mysterious nexus of intelligence agencies, NGO's and other criminal organizations? Or all the family dynasty military contractors profiting off the social & technical infrastructure? Or Kirtaner's known work as a classified intelligence asset? Or the fact that all the “Anonymous” profiles on social media move in a clearly-organized swarm promoting various foreign wars? Or that derivative criminal groups like 764, the Groypers and “Antifa” are all being steered by the same mysterious imageboard conspiracy as additional liability shields?

These are the questions you must ask yourself to get to the bottom of this soul-destroying mystery.

Anonymous is perhaps most known for its “Operations”, which is a fancy term for a coward who is afraid to take responsibility for their own grudges, and so they hide their intentions with a Guy Fawkes Mask. Raid culture has been a historic part of Anon since its infancy. And while Anon used to have many active subcultures, it is the withered husk of raid culture that has come to define Anonymous and its evil hellspawn in the modern era.

But how did we get here? To understand that, we must look at a chronological history of AnonOps:

Operations are a very early tradition of Anonymous, where they were originally known as raids. It was not uncommon for a random site's comments or forums getting bombarded with a flash mob of Anons spamming stuff like “longcat is longgggggggg” and “DESU DESU DESU DESU DESU”, after being innocuously mentioned in a thread on /b/. The anonymous rambunctious atmosphere of 4chan's /b/ subforum was the perfect incubation chamber for these types of events to flourish, and it wasn't long before people started deliberately organizing coordinated raids in the style of these spur-of-the-moment happenings.

For some reason, nobody ever questioned a bunch of creepy Boomers & Gen X'ers grooming a personal army of impressionable Millennial teenagers, and molding them into being psychotic little shits. So for a few years they played dumb and let the problem spiral out of control, while getting revenge on every website they had beef with. Sometimes it would spill into the real world and a target would be hit with a Pizza Bomb.

FUCK YOU, PAY ME.

This went on until a string of furry websites was hit towards the end of August 2006, and suddenly enough was enough. There was too much internal friction with other parts of the operation, which relied on the volunteer labor of furries to keep afloat. Everyone had to be shuttled off to a containment board so they could keep incubating their personal army in a less constrained social setting, as a raiding community had not been part of the initial 4chan spec. When everyone realized it meant Anon could have a dedicated raids forum, it was an easy sell. So Anonymous declared itself a Sovereign Nation and liberated itself from the confines of 4chan. Now Anons could go anywhere, and still remain culturally Anonymous. For this clutch trait, Anons are sometimes known as “The Jews of the Internet.”

That is how the /i/nvasions board was born. For awhile this board was hosted on 7chan. Eventually it was passed to Kirt and 420chan. It passed around a few other sites later as everyone got tired of the legal liability involved in hosting it, but the “golden years” are usually seen as the 7chan/420chan era. An IRC network - the notorious Partyvan IRC - was formed as an additional central meeting hub, and the Insurgency Wiki as a central repository of dox and skid tools. Unshackled from 4chan, the now nascent /i/nsurgency could forge a new identity with a blessing from the community as Anon's official military arm.

As things settled down and /i/ established itself, a shared ambition began to congeal across the imageboards: The world must know & fear Anonymous. Before the end of the year there was a communal drive to deliberately summon a terrifying & world-disrupting force from the abyss - “for the lulz” as it was often said. To herald its arrival (as prophesied by John the Apostle & the prophet Daniel) /i/ had to make the whole internet tremble at the name of Anonymous by whatever means necessary. Anon would have to establish notoriety by striking terror into the hearts of many more randos. Targets began to become more ruthlessly hounded. It didn't matter who suffered, as long as it was someone.

Terrifying people to the point of getting on Fox News was considered an “epic win”, and generated a flurry of memes.

Rapid doxxing technology was one of the first things perfected. After that, simple pizza deliveries would not be enough. The pizza bomb tactic was quickly expanded into hitting every delivery & consultation service in the yellow pages. Mormons, Jehovah's Witnesses and escorts would be summoned. Sometimes someone would come home to finding a pallet of boxes blocking their driveway. There were pedo-hunting ops, but there was also a massive proliferation of revenge porn & raids against people's ex-girlfriends. Sometimes targets would find their personal banking, insurance or utility accounts remotely sabotaged & cancelled. Child support payments interrupted or child services called. There were straight up people in their 30s & 40s, doxxing preteens, calling their homes and telling whoever answered that they were going to rape them. Targets who had Encyclopedia Dramatica articles about them from this era still report harassment to this very day. I've seen and heard so many horror stories it would make you want to rip your face off. (Out of respect I'm going to avoid putting certain victims on blast.) This is, after all, the era where the art of suicide trolling was born. And of course there was no shortage of Anons hacking websites and stealing credit card numbers.

Peppered throughout the cyberbullying crusades & felony hacking sprees are the fun whimsical raids that everyone remembers and romanticizes: Habbo Hotel, Tom Green, Hal Turner, phishing MySpace accounts, spoiling Harry Potter, trashing furry websites & Second Life, the Anon who released live snakes at the Snakes on a Plane movie premier, and countless others. They weren't all psychotically evil. The community would sometimes make an attempt to self-police itself and shout down “personal army requests”, but in reality the /i/nsurgency was everyone's personal army. Anyone who could speak the esoteric language of this army could summon a terrible force and direct it at anything, provided that it entertain the force in some way. But the thing with entertainment, is reruns rarely get ratings. Things get stale after awhile. You need bigger & grander stunts. The drugs have to get stronger. Where does it all go next?

The masses were not supposed to take this seriously…

It is universally agreed upon by all oldfags that the War on Scientology was when everything changed. Anonymous had done IRL trolling many times before, but it was a total fluke that Project Chanology became what it did.

There was initially no ideological motive behind Chanology. A few board users made a Big Deal about how it was unfair the Church of Scientology was trying to censor people, but they were just useful idiots in the whole scheme. All /i/ wanted to do was fuck with a whole religion, for the sake of saying they trolled one of the most notorious cults in the world. Everything had already been done by then. There was nowhere left to artistically raise the bar of organized trolling. Declaring War on the Scientologists was seen as a natural way to keep the momentum going to bigger & greater heights.

But it was not supposed to be a big protest thing. It was just an excuse to send them pizza deliveries, and spam their faxes with horsecocks until they ran out of ink. The first protests were an absolute joke, intended to be an ironic parody of activism itself. Passerby could be bewildered en masse, and Anon might get in the news again. It was an on-brand in-joke that nobody outside of Anonymous ever fully understood. Instead it inspired a wave of human rights advocates to take to the streets in real protests to demand legal accountability for real crimes.

As if this development wasn't surreal enough, it didn't stop there. Actual victims of the Scientologists soon surfaced, thanking Anon for helping them. Some of these people had been harassed for years by the Church's notorious internal counterintelligence unit - the Office of Special Affairs - and were just glad that someone was finally listening to them. Normies started to worship Anon, unaware of the monster that it truly was. Anonymous leadership, sensing opportunity, pounced on the chance to whitewash their sins and rebrand themselves as underground heroes.

Over the next two years trickled in waves of new humanitarian-minded Anons. All alien to Anon's culture, yet all eager to use Anon's mask for political warfare. And it was steered by jannies on high the whole time. Active recruitment. Active training. Active deployment. Grander and even more political ops. Until it finally climaxed in 2011 after the Lulzsec arrests and Occupy Wall Street (see below).

They don't call it “Troll's Remorse” for nothing.

Anon's most notorious achievement - Occupy Wall Street - is technically not even Anon's. After Chanology, Anonymous was inundiated with hordes of new “members” with questionable backgrounds. Culturally they were very alien to Anon's storied traditions & memes, and they never truly assimilated. Their ambitions went way beyond the quaint ambitions of the average hacker. Many of them had pointed political axes to grind. Most of the original /i/nsurgents & allied Anonymous raid groups had fled for the hills by this point, sensing their playground had been invaded by an evil parasitic force beyond their understanding. Aside from a handful of holdouts maintaining observation posts, everyone else had left or was compromised.

By the time Occupy happened, all that remained in control of Anonymous were the original conspirators from 2003 and their lackeys, and technically they were not even in control anymore. They had already been secretly rounded up and blackmailed into working for the government because of the aforementioned Raspberry Heaven CSAM distribution scheme. So they were happy to just sit back and milk the publicity for ad revenue & immunity from prosecution, while the government & wealthy political donors used their creation as an unholy science lab.

Occupy is looked back upon as a moment of pride for many deluded Anons, never grasping the true nature of the operation. For those unaware, undercover cops sometimes do time behind bars in order to appear more legitimate in the criminal underworld they were infiltrating. In this way, Anonymous was positioned by mysterious forces as heroes of the underdog & protectors of human rights, to bolster its street credibility.

But what was Anon being used to infiltrate? What was Occupy a cover story for? To answer this, we need to look at a parallel 2011 operation: Arab Spring (see below).

After spending much of 2010 hacking a spree of high profile corporate & government systems, Anonymous suddenly shifted gears and set its sights on a bunch of mineral-rich third world nations. For some strange and suspiciously undocumented reason, right as everyone started getting in trouble, Anonymous just randomly decided to help organize protests in a bunch of countries that the Obama administration wanted to stage revolutions in. Many countries throughout the middle east suffered the sting of Anonymous, and four of them (Tunisia, Egypt, Syria and Libya) outright had their governments overthrown as a direct result.

Now Anonymous had been harnessed by professional military contractors who innately understood Anon's true potential as a covert weapon of War. The government couldn't be seen as officially organizing protests and having hackers sabotage power grids. But everyone could play dumb and say “it was those guys from Anonymous!” The only reason Occupy was allowed to happen in the first place is they needed to be able to say “They staged that whole thing here in New York too!” It would look awfully suspicious if the US government wasn't also targeted by this curiously potent cyberweapon that just randomly appeared out of nowhere and started hacking personal enemies of Hillary Clinton. It was this simple magic trick that kept the entire thing from becoming a press scandal on the floor of a UN Security Council meeting.

Now Anonymous got to be real soldiers of fortune. To say they merely “organized protests” would be an understatement. The deeper that Anonymous activists (aka intelligence assets & DoD contractors) could penetrate into the lives of locals via these events, the more intel there was for trained analysts to study for exploitation. Weak links could be found and pressured with pinpoint precision. Plus these flash mobs were perfect distraction ops. Now the NSA/CIA could just hack Syrian or Libyan utility infrastructure, mess a whole bunch of shit up, and claim it was Anonymous. Get out of jail free. Blame everything on Anon except the airstrikes. Send in a bunch of taxpayer-funded Wahhabi rapists to clean up the power vacuum and hand mineral access to Halliburton & Genie Energy. Of course the vultures of the military-industrial complex understood the power of the mask, and needless to say notorious slushpots like USAID and the Atlantic Council had their grubby little fingerprints all over it.

They are afraid of the Box's instability, Anon.

One thing Occupy revealed was that many Anons & 4chan users held a belief that the left & right could “unite” to take on the billionaire elite class. Such ideas are legitimately dangerous to the powers that be, especially considering the chaotic magical forces that were fueling the whole thing. It was quickly understood by America's occult-savvy rulers that this was a sentiment that could never be allowed to fester on the imageboards again.

So in the wake of Occupy, a scheme was hatched to keep Anonymous at permanent war with itself, so that it could still be milked for free energy in the meantime by government scienticians:

I think if someone were to do a study on the internet backgrounds of school shooters over the last 10 years, they would find the vast majority of them hung out at 4chan, some descendant Anonymous community like 8chan or “Skibidi Farms”, or any of the innumerable Discord servers orbiting these places like satellites.

This peculiar phenomenon isn't limited to any single political faction either, as large numbers of both hard-left and hard-right mass shooters are literally coming out of these places like its an industrial assembly line. And it's not a secret. Everyone knows shady political groups & child extortion cults have comprehensive indoctrination pipelines set up around these sites. There are numerous studies, news articles & research papers out there describing this very phenomenon.

So why does this keep happening? The feds have logs of literally everything ever said on 4chan & Discord, but they can't stop the school shooter grooming gangs that everyone knows about? How are all these kids getting radicalized on 4chan & Discord where everything is tracked by the government, but law enforcement can't seem to do anything about it?

It really is sad to see.

Anonymous is currently at the lowest point of its long & storied history. Almost everyone on the street understands that Anonymous was taken over by the government, and that their whole underground eat-the-rich internet superhero mythos is an outright fabrication. These people are punching bags now. Popular Anon accounts like YourAnonNews and YourAnonCentral are routinely mocked & ridiculed by swarms of trolls rightfully calling them out as government shills. Big shot “Founder of Anonymous” Kirtaner was in a popular Netflix documentary, but nobody respects him for it. Everyone knows it's astroturf and that USAID-affiliated fronts have had their fingers in Kirt's inner circle for years. Everyone knows about Vilerat getting sacrificed by Hillary Clinton at the Embassy in Benghazi. Everyone knows about the military consolidating control over 2chan & 8chan. Everyone knows about Peter Thiel funding Weev & the frog magick kids. Everyone knows about the covert partnership between 4chan & Epstein. There's no coming back from this. The credibility is gone forever. The Brand(TM) is finished.

However, Anonymous is far from dead. Like the mythical Hydra, the original conspirators (and their descendants) are running numerous offshoot groups like ONA/764 and the Groypers. These Anon-adjacent subcultures carry on many of the psychotic traditions of the ancient raiding community. Forums like Kiwi Farms, Skibidi Farms and “The Sharty” provide active public places for glowboys & shills to coordinate plausibly-deniable raids against their political enemies. Some Anons have gone into the world of cryptocurrency, spawning sinister gambling cults, scamming their brethren in “financial PVP warfare.” Even Martin Random is running around with a “falcon-based cybercult” that's mostly a bunch of ex-Anons & ex-Goons looking for shelter from their former identities (because they're hardline militant communists).

After all, Anonymous never dies. It just mutates. And it has arguably existed since the beginning of time. And there is no shortage of power-hungry suckers ready to pick up the haunted mask, literally get possessed, and be plausibly deniable useful idiots for a violent & pedophilic Satanic conspiracy. Short of implementing a worldwide global identification system there's really no way to stop it… oh, right.

Meet your new supervisor, Anon!

Since the days of Arab Spring, Anonymous has been involved in a neverending litany of operations against the governments of numerous nation-states, usually due to the influence of various government intelligence agencies and lawless corporations.

Some of these operations involve hardcore militant activists (mostly COINTELPRO goons, though some of them are Kremlin & Bay Area influenced as well) throwing around big words like rule of law and human rights. Roughly 95% of active operations are of this type.

I will attempt to catalog some of the most relevant ongoing operations here:

Israel, Turkey & Azerbaijan want to control the oil & gas pipelines of the Caucausus. They've decided to work together to genocide the locals, but the Eastern Orthodox Church is in the way. Anonymous is needed to stage protests in Georgia, so that they can spiral out of control into a giant proxy war that depopulates the entire region. They need to clear the way for “New Georgians” to be moved in from halfway across Asia to rape women & children just like they did in Syria. This way the Turks & Azeris can finally isolate and finish genociding those stubborn Armenians.

Important Note: Israel, Turkey & Azerbaijan do not want to take credit for this operation. Russia is nearby and easy to blame, so you are instructed to blame Russia for any and all violence, no matter who does it. Only Assadists Putinists would be against this operation, Anon.

The CIA has never stopped dreaming about the day they could put the Shah (or one of his descendants) back in power in Iran, so that Wall Street could take over Iranian oil fields and mineral wealth. Their hopes were thin for a long time. That all changed in 2011, when the Obama Administration realized it could leverage feminists, internet trolls and bored hackers as a weapon against oil-rich Muslim nations. And so, OpIran was born to renew their quest.

These Anons (and their friends in the Pentagon) are basically going to hack and troll Iran and the Iranian government and Iranian businesses, until the Iranians relent and put Reza Pahlavi in charge, so that his wife & her boyfriend may openly continue their sordid affair in Tehran. This flagrant humiliation ritual on the Iranian people then has to be celebrated as a victory for democracy in Iran, or we have a right to bomb them.

Since that will never happen, this fruitless conflict will continue as a perpetual source of free energy and funding for the world's military contractors.

That's right: Anonymous works both sides of world geopolitics! Anyways, this op is basically the same deal: You're helping Partisangirl hack and troll the Israelis forever until they cease their occupation of the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Not that it would stop there, considering Mimi's sole reason to live at this point consists of getting revenge on Israel for putting ISIS in charge of her home country.

You're guaranteed to meet some interesting people here, but make sure to employ compartmentalization if you are also on OpIran or NAFO, as they will undoubtedly come into conflict through you.

Watching NAFO is like watching 9/11 happen every day.

Ever since the early days of /b/ and /v/, American and Russian Anons have been duking it out with each other in games like Counter-Strike, training & mentally preparing for the day that they would get to fight each other IRL. With over a decade of Anonymous-led buildup in Ukraine, and their Russian counterparts doing the same to the east, Anon's dream of the ultimate war game has finally come true.

In the midst of this absolutely surreal development in geopolitics, a bunch of cartoon dogs calling themselves “NAFO” has emerged from this, using a meme stolen from us as their mascot. NAFO is now one of the largest USAID-affiliated outfits which poaches its membership from Anonymous, but there are many smaller groups orbiting this sphere as well. Meanwhile the Russian side contains the descendants of Russian 2chan, and other historical Russian Anonymous hangouts. While both sides of this conflict are littered with American & Russian military/intelligence personnel, there are many entry points from within the world of Anonymous.

Anonymous for the Voiceless is Anon's vegan astroturf niche. I never quite got to the bottom of which creepy nonprofit is funding this one, but it sure as hell ain't organic. Occasionally they would set up on the Riverwalk in Tampa's Water Works Park with televisions & giant battery packs, so they could harass passerby about animal cruelty. I'm told they pop up like this everywhere, and there is a whole online component to this particular operation.

The ones I encountered IRL were nothing like Anons. It was a bunch of militant snobby kids wearing Guy Fawkes masks being led around by some creepy Gen X'er that looked like he was on a mountain of coke. Well, maybe that part was very like Anonymous, but not a single Anonymous reference registered with them beyond Occupy. However, they get hella defensive real fast if you question their origins (in the typical “play dumb & aggressively gaslight” way that mainline NGO shills do) so be sure to confront them and troll the hell out of them whenever you see them.

So you may be wondering how to join Anonymous. That is very simple. Just look up the relevant hashtags above on various social media sites, and you will find trails to active operations.

You can also participate in these ops without oversight! Just post pics of your exploits on those hashtags to gain fame and notoriety, which is how you level up and become more powerful in these types of ops. The pictures don't even have to be related.
