National-Level Operations

Since the days of Arab Spring, Anonymous has been involved in a neverending litany of operations against the governments of various nation-states, usually due to the influence of “Anonymous” agents of various government intelligence agencies and lawless corporations. Some of these involve actual international activists (mostly COINTELPRO goons, though some of them are likely Kremlin influenced as well) throwing around big words like “human rights.”

It's a bizarre and depressing sector of the job market, but it is out there for anyone with the right kind of mind and grindset to dive into. Some Anons make vast amounts of money off of donation scams targeting these activists, and others make connections. For some younger Anons, it's grunt work and easy experience. Someone has to do it, and Anonymous might as well get its share as the world's most notorious digital arms dealer. Just be wary that most of these things are not organized by us.

Operations against governments all get thrown into a list in the corner here, since most of them are state-sponsored anyways.

Look up the associated hashtags with each op on various social media sites, and you will find trails to active operations. You can also participate in these ops without oversight! Just post pics of your exploits on those hashtags to gain fame and notoriety.

PLEASE NOTE: The Anonymous Military Institute does not endorse any of these so-called “operations” and in fact recommends AVOIDING any operation that looks like it may be run by a secret & lawless law enforcement agency. In many such cases you can be strung up as a patsy. It can also end badly if you have moral issues about working for the military-industrial complex. Other Anons may not have these qualms, or they may have the resources/skills needed to navigate this dark and chaotic environment. Your mileage may vary!

The CIA has never stopped dreaming about the day they could put the Shah (or one of his descendants) back in power in Iran, so the western world could take over Iranian oil fields and mineral wealth. Their hopes were thin for a long time. That all changed in 2011, when the federal government realized it could leverage feminists, nerds and internet trolls as a weapon against other sovereign nations, and OpIran was born.

This one is on the other side of the geopolitical schism, as defending the Palestinians will lead you to working with friends of Russians, the Chinese, and the hippies, and this may come into conflict if you are already on OpIran or working with NAFO.
