Spam is determined and measured through quantity as opposed to quality, and while spam usually related to email spam, it can also be applied to message boards, instant messengers, and other means of communication. Spam can be generated by a fast user or an automated script.

+Spam is greatly annoying to the end user as it interferes the recipient's means to receive legitimate information. As such, it makes an effective weapon in any internet arsenal.

+One of the most under-appreciated email spam tactics are "Tell-A-Friend" forms. Most often these forms are ancient and have spaces for multiple emails that do not check for duplicates. If you go to almost any website they will have Tell-A-Friend forms. Simply copy-paste the address of the email into all available slots, and send. It's even better if you use iMacros or another automated program to do this.
