In 2023, it was expressed to me by multiple members of the [[hazards:anonymous|Anonymous]] cyberterrorist collective that we needed the ancient [[site:insurgency-wiki|Insurgency Wiki]] to come back to life, or at the very least something like it. Anonymous hadn't had a real successful operation in over a decade, and lacked the organizational infrastructure it once had. And so, the //"Anonymous Military Institute at Best Point"// was conceived by yours truly, to fill this market demand, and to hopefully steer newfags away from the many hazards & perils that await them in this part of the internet. In 2023, it was expressed to me by multiple members of the [[hazards:anonymous|Anonymous]] cyberterrorist collective that we needed the ancient [[site:insurgency-wiki|Insurgency Wiki]] to come back to life, or at the very least something like it. -Needless to say, none of that actually worked out, because this is no longer the "AnonymousMilitary Institute. So what happened? After two years of working on this practically solo, enduring constant ridicule & mind games for trying to do people a favor, I am bored and want to do something new. So I have kept the fruits of my labors, and retooled this into my new personal blog.+Needless to say, none of that actually worked out, because this is no longer the //Anonymous Military Institute//. -The //Anonymous Military Institute// was designed as a group project. It was carefully laid out to cover a wide range of content & writers, expecting a team of people to take it over. Instead, it turned out the people encouraging me to build this, were also actively sabotaging my efforts to recruit a staff team for them.+The //Anonymous Military Institute// was designed as a group project. Pulling from my experience as a professional digital publisher, it was carefully laid out to cover a wide range of content & writers, expecting a team of people to take it over. Instead, it turned out the people encouraging me to build this, were also actively sabotaging my efforts to recruit a staff team for them.

-Doing group projects by yourself sucks, so now it is no longer a group project. I'm not repeating this cycle year after year. If shit doesn't work out, I move on. In this case I have to move on with a whole encyclopedia that I never planned on keeping for myself, and figure out a whole new direction for it, to salvage my time.+Doing group projects by yourself sucks, so it is no longer a group project. I'm not repeating this cycle year after year. If shit doesn't work out, I move on and build something different. -Anything I personally cannot keep track of has been jettisoned. I'm not a hacker, so don't come here looking for hacking guides anymore because nobody is here to write them. I've also decided to liberate myself from marketing this endeavor. The AMI's twitter account //(formerly the Anonymous Foreign Affairs Desk)// I passed off to the [[x>death2cali|California project]]. Self-promotion of any sort here is a waste of time. So now this dark corner of the internet is where I will be tossing my thoughts on things, for the small handful of people destined to find this archive.+Anything I personally cannot keep track of has been jettisoned. I'm not a hacker, so don't come here looking for hacking guides anymore because nobody is here to write them. Most of the guides that I didn't write have also been removed, and all the accounts that were previously registered here. The IRC, Operations Portal and all the community modules I was working on are gone, because none of them fit where I'm taking this. I've also decided to liberate myself from marketing this endeavor. The AMI's twitter account //(formerly the Anonymous Foreign Affairs Desk)// I passed off to the [[x>death2cali|Cali op]]. I hate being my own PR guy, and self-promotion of any sort here is pointless as long as anything pertaining to this site is aggressively roadblocked by forces beyond my control.

+So now this dark corner of the internet is where I will be tossing my thoughts on things, for the small handful of people destined to find this archive. I'm retooling the index and some of the articles to reflect the new direction things are taking here. If any of this is useful to you, please share it because I don't have time anymore.
