Wingnuts in a nutshell.

Few things are more obnoxious, more self-defeating, or more dangerous, than the obstinate wingnut.

Everyone knows who these assholes are. These are the ones that have sold themselves over to a rigid political ideology, and nothing, not their friends, not their neighbors, not even common sense, will make them flinch on it.

God help you if you disagree with the wingnut on some trivial thing that doesn't matter, even if they are a “trusted” friend or family member. If you do, you will be recognized as a Threat to the ideology. For the rest of your life, your relationship with this self-righteous jackass will now be one in which they perpetually talk down to you like you are a child.

The saddest state of affairs in Anonymous in 2024, is that much of the collective is now owned by wingnuts. Under their ownership, the Anonymous community has been tactically reoriented into producing wingnuts of all stripes and color-affiliations, much to the detriment of the rest of the world. Every four years, these operations kick in to overdrive, as vast swaths of the Anonymous community are pulled away to campaign for war criminals.
