Bunny Boilers

There is generally no low that a Bunny Boiler will not stoop to, in order to get their revenge.

A bunny boiler is a slang term for a person who acts in a vengeful way towards an ex-partner/lover, or someone who rejected their romantic advances. This behavior may also be directed towards the victim's new love interest, their family or friends, professional connections, and other people in that person's life.

Bunny boilers are a regular nuisance to many Anons. The ex-lovers of our operatives frequently decide that our communal activities are valid targets when it comes to seeking petty revenge, and have no problem spending months/years to disturb our fight for human rights in order to feel good about themselves.

The term comes from the 1987 film Fatal Attraction, where a scorned woman seeking revenge on her former lover, places his family’s beloved pet rabbit in a pot of boiling water when he is away from the house. Because of this, many people erroneously assume that the term “bunny boiler” means a scorned woman, but men are just as capable of exhibiting bunny boiler tendencies as well.

Bunny boilers, due to their oftentimes fierce tenacity, should be planned for in advance - that is, with proper opsec and compartmentalization. The typical bunny boiler, much like any other saboteur, is constantly looking for leverage over their victim, and so their eye is attuned to looking for anything that they can possibly exploit for maximum damage, even if it means leaving behind a massive swath of collateral damage on the side.
